Biosafety level 3 laboratory (BSL-3) spaces are what allow Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine scientists to develop diagnostics, treatments, and vaccines for high consequence diseases. An MSU with more BSL-3 space is an MSU that is able to tackle a world of diseases that affect animals and humans.
